This is an excerpt from the backstory Rita Bhatia wrote for her character Priya Singh, a celebrity anchor on CBC, India's biggest business news channel. Rita is bringing to life on stage a Priya who is glamorous, ambitious, supremely confident and undoubtedly a cutthroat go-getter when she needs to be.

Divya Chari is playing Priya's junior, Vani Gupta, a young, eager, hungry investigative journalist.
