Construction Ahead! – Set Building Gets Underway
Some of our plays are minimalist. No set. Just black boxes and some props. Dance Like a Man is not minimalist. Not even close. When you come to see the show, you will feel like you are in traditional, authentic South Indian home. More about that later.
Today, we want to shine the light on our Sets Crew – those intrepid volunteers who see a complex set design on a sheet of paper and go "Yeah, I'd like to go build that." Led by the very talented Subashinee Krishnamurthy, they are now about at the half way mark. Pratish Shah, our Sets Coordinator, is keeping things on track.
We are going to have a beautiful set. Thanks to our Set Build volunteers, some of whom are in the accompanying pictures.
